The Jordan Valley — one of the few regions on earth for premium Medjool.
Hot, sun-rich summers, mild winters, alkaline mineral-rich soils and drip irrigation create the conditions in which the King of Dates ripens optimally.
Our family farm
Our farm has been run by our family for three generations. We grow exclusively the Medjool variety. Every tree is tended individually, every fruit is hand-harvested — a level of care reflected in size, texture and depth of flavour.
Cultivation
- Climate: long, hot dry summers (up to 40 °C), mild winters
- Soil: mineral-rich, well-drained soils of the Jordan Rift
- Water: drip irrigation with precise dosing
- Crop protection: integrated pest management with minimal chemical input
- Pollination: manual pollination — a traditional craft
Harvest
Harvest runs from September to October. Each tree is visited multiple times — only ripe fruit is picked. This selective hand-harvest is the single biggest driver of the consistent quality of our shipments.
Post-harvest
Immediately after harvest the fruit is cleaned, size-graded, visually inspected, packaged and stored in temperature-controlled conditions. Shipping is via reefer container from the port of Aqaba.
From farm to European port
We control every step — growing, harvesting, sorting, packing, cold chain, shipping. That is how we deliver consistency, traceability and fair pricing, without the markups of multi-tier middlemen.
