Consumers across Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia are increasingly looking for foods that combine natural sweetness, minimal processing, premium quality, traceable origin, and convenient nutrition. Medjool dates fit naturally into this trend.
Why Medjool dates are different
Unlike standard date varieties, Medjool dates are known for large fruit size, soft texture, rich caramel-like flavor, premium visual appearance, and high consumer recognition. This makes them particularly attractive for premium retail packaging, specialty food stores, health-conscious consumers, Ramadan seasonal demand, and bakery and ingredient applications.
European importers increasingly differentiate between conventional commodity dates and premium-grade Medjool dates. As a result, buyers are paying greater attention to size calibration, skin separation, moisture content, residue standards, and consistency of supply.
The importance of origin
The Jordan Valley is internationally recognized as one of the leading regions for Medjool cultivation. Its climate conditions — including strong sunlight, dry weather, and fertile soil — create ideal conditions for producing large, soft, and high-quality fruit.
At Crown of the Palm UG, our Medjool dates come directly from our privately operated family farm in the Jordan Valley. By working directly from origin, we aim to provide traceability, consistency, direct communication, long-term reliability, and flexible cooperation for importers and distributors.
Bulk supply for European partners
Our focus is on bulk wholesale supply for importers, repackers, food distributors, wholesalers, and ingredient buyers. For the 2026–2027 season, we expect approximately 100 tonnes of Medjool dates available for export to Europe.
We offer multiple size categories ranging from Medium to Super Jumbo, as well as several quality grades based on skin separation. Our farm is GLOBALG.A.P. certified, and our production follows strict quality and residue-control standards.
